Tim Williams says:

Big fan of the Werewolf movie (my fave sub-genre of horror). What hooked me about this film was the chemistry between the two principals (Landon Liboiron & Lindsey Shaw). As a trained "method" actor, their scenes together were stunning. True, I did need to forgive a lot of the cheesy effects, and some of the awkward scenes, but such is low-budget. Over-all, as far as intent, and emotional-content, I think it's one of the best werewolf movies ever made–right up there with Dog Soldiers.

Also, I think that that one comment was not so much directed at Wolfman (with Benicio del Toro), but more at Wolf, with Jack Nicholson–possibly one of the WORST of the sub-genre EVER!!!

The original Howling was my favorite followed by American WereWolf and Silver Bullet. Wanst really impressed by Dog Soldiers. Cant understand why a lot of people list it up top But every ones entitled to their opinion.

Movie Mojo says:

Hey Jay! Great vid! I wasn't a big fan of this movie. I prefer the original 1981 classic Howling movie. Apparently now people I know can't accept me for my love of movies. Well, at least I know there is a community dedicated to love for movies.  Anyway, I'm finally getting the original Howling on dvd tomorrow for $4. My top favorite is The Wolfman, but The Howling is a close second.

6.5 out of 10? This barely registers a 2. It felt like a cheap Teen Wolf wannabe except the hero here was more whinny than in that show. Total let down for something that had the potential to be good. Also, despite the credit claim, this is really based on the third and final book in The Howling series. The second book was a revenge against the lead girl in the first book by her lycan husband and his mistress. TH3 was a bout a teen werewolf trying to protect two humans from his pack.

Seeker Trueth says:

think about that, she dreamed it….lmfao,I truelly believe she is a sexually repressed lady who never got any loveing.had a wet dream about diamond skinned vamps who all loved her cause she was special…god if you watch her doc's with the actors she focusses on the sexually charged scenes and was seriously flirting with edward.it cracked me up,but this emo generation of kids stuck in there rooms on laptops all day with bf's they never met,who live in another country,no wonder it made it.

Seeker Trueth says:

BTW skinwalkers is an indian myth of indians that could take the shape of animal's,usually that of a wolf or kayote,as i said twilight was tottally a skinwalker, only indians seemed affected, only at the presence of vamps and they turned into big fluffy cudly wolfs you just want to hug and give a bone to,that is not a werewolf by any descryption,in cronos form a werewolf is part man part wolf, wich is what makes it so danerouse.twilight was a love story made by a lonly women.she said she dreamed it

Seeker Trueth says:

Anyone can understand to an extent the plight of the werewolf, holding in your anger, not acting on instinct..like that guy said about the 2% that seperates us from animall's.great line btw…I really believe they need to expand on this, catch p with the vampire crap and make some more good werewolf movies, and i liked how the eye's were blue when the hero changed, but after eating human flesh they turn red, notice how the girls were yellow then dureing the creds they you see her and there red.hint..

Seeker Trueth says:

they should invest in some werewolf hero's…i mean if a vampire who has to drink blood in order to survive can be a good guy why cant a werewolf?not saying all werewolfs would or need be good, but in the lore werewolfs were servents to vampires till they broke free and now are there mortall enemy, the only creature that can kill a vamp with one bite.they need to expand on this line of movie, invest more money into it and stick with a storyline.look at underworld, great movie!!

Seeker Trueth says:

the right path,I grew up loveing werewolf movie's,still do,and it trips me out that vampires come from nasfuratu to highschool pin up models not affected by the sun with diamond skin, and wolf who you want to hug and pet,not be scarred of.if i seen a twilight ww id try to take it in as a pet.its about time they started getting to the meat of the mythology, werewolfs are the mortall enemy of vampires and if there are tons of crapy love fest diary vampire movies it only stands to reason

Seeker Trueth says:

The problem hear isnt the movie..they did what they could with what they have…the problem is the extreme lack of werewolf movie's that tie in with any good storyline, its either a werewolf on a rampage..kill the evil werewolf,or a sideplot werewolf movie, and twilight was a friggin joke if ANYONE considers twilight to have any good werewolf mythology in it there stupid.in twilight they arent werewolfs there skinwalkers.wayyyy different.I think this movie is a movie finally on

Crimson tiger says:

skinwalker was a better movie

Crimson tiger says:

X doesnt even do that lol
