Venkata Krishna Murthy Annapragada says:

I think lot of people think that girls are right by bundling all men as bad and considering themselves demi-goddesses. This has become a fashion or trend nowadays. Need some cheap publicity? start male-bashing, u will get it very easily. Taking dowry is bad, yes, that is completely wrong towards girl. But where people go wrong is that they fail to realise that girl's father who is supposed to give that dowry is a man too, he suffers along with the girl. And most of the time the mother-in-law turns out to be the tormentor-in-chief, who is a woman. Conveniently ignored. So, don't make man a villain.
Blame the society, which consists of both men and women. Don't singleout man and that too the groom who is probably of the same age or may be a couple of years older than bride. He also, like the bride has a family and is in an unfortunate position to abide. If that family which needless to say consisting of both men and women become sensible, only then everything will be fine. Both man and woman are responsible for every good or bad in our society. Till this truth is not acknowledged and understood, trust me, nothing will change.
When a girl, listening to some other's experience, dumps the guy on the marriage day and runs away, why a self-respecting man should not take revenge on her? I have not seen the movie yet, but from what i heard, I liked the male character very much. He starts to take revenge but after knowing the innocence of her in a case, he most sensibly helps her in coming out of the problem. I am sure no feminist likes a man helping a woman. Women are multitalented, they don't need help, especially from a man. Men are evil u see.
Anyway, coming back to the movie, I also heard that they get married in the end. That part i did not like. She do not deserve him.
