Love, Simon Movie Review

Love, Simon Movie Review

Elliott and Morgan here to review ‘Love, Simon’ directed by Greg Berlanti and stars Nick Robinson, Josh Duhamel, Jennifer Garner, Katherine Langford, Alexandra Shipp, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. Everyone deserves a great love story. But for Simon it’s complicated: no-one knows he’s gay and he doesn’t know who the anonymous classmate is that he’s fallen for online. Resolving both issues proves hilarious, scary and life-changing.

Robert Currie says:

Great review. I think the idea was to portray Simon's dealing with how to come out and developing the online relationship without a lot of other drama, which is why his family is so Leave-it-to-Beaver. They wanted to keep it light. They wanted to show that not all families disown their children for being gay and even if your family is perfect coming out is difficult.

Hmm sounds pretty good. I hadn't even heard of it yet so thanks for the review. I don't think I'll ever get too old for decent teen movies! I love them from the 1980s onward.
