Luke and Jacob from ModernHorrors.com break down one of the most surprisingly terrifying releases of 2015 – Last Shift.
It didn’t really scare me but I said a few times bitch get out of there
GOSH DANG GIRL WHY DID YOU NOT RUN OUT DAT GOD DAMN DOOR!?!?! I CAN"T JERK OFF TO THIS CRAP MAN LIKE COME ON MAN!! jk lol
lol I watched it alone in a empty hotel by myself during the last shift.
I saw it in the auditorium at my film school with all the lights off and f**k me I was looking over my shoulder every five seconds.
Not a great movie, but certainly not a bad one either. Great effects, fantastic imagery. I love how you guys compared it to a survival horror game, because I felt the same. About twenty minutes in, I began to see it as a Silent Hill/Condemned love child which made the experience way more fun. Yeah, the protagonist could have left the building waaaay before shit got super crazy, but we don't REALLY want her to leave, do we?
Such a frustrating film. Some genuinely creepy moments but also a lot of stupid and illogical character and plot moments that kept taking me out of the film. Still worth watching.
That female cop has to be the most slowest person ever, in the start of the move dodgy shit kept happening and she kept ignoring it like it was normal. Plus this movie sucks.
I enjoyed it. I haven't seen something like this since the 1st sinister. I'm sure if they had a larger budget this movie could of ended up on the big screen.
Great review. But the reason the Sergeant had the cop turn around was because he wanted to make sure that she wasn't a "spirit". I believe that he was experiencing the same things she was.
I won't lie. This movie scared me.
@koopatroopa187 We hear you. This was definitely one of the best surprise releases of 2015.
It was a toss up between this and Boogie Nights and I was feeling rather horror movieish tonight. I highly regret not watching Boogie Nights. I don't think a horror movie has had me that terrified in a long time. I had to pause the movie around the 45 minute mark cause I needed to take a break from all the tension. My hats off to the crew who made this movie. Bravo! It's a shame the ending was terrible, because everything before the last five minutes was absolutely amazing.
