Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Movie Review – A Ridiculous but Exciting Ride

‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ directed by J. A. Bayona and starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jeff Goldblum, BD Wong, Ted Levine, Toby Jones and James Cromwell. The film is set for a June 22, 2018 release and it’s the second installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. The first film exploded into theaters with an incredible financial take. It was a worldwide sensation that shocked analysts with its box office power. When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen and Claire mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.

Perri Nemiroff is just back from her press screening of it this morning and is here to review the movie. She talks about the acting, direction, action sequences and the storylines in the film. She explores what worked and what didn’t work in the movie. She lets you know if Bayona’s take is a worthy installment in the Jurassic Park franchise. Daniel Kinney says:

What about Jeff Goldblum?

mythdusterds says:

I am surprised that you ranked it as high as you did. 7 out of 10 still sounds pretty high on the ranking based upon the review.

mohammad ali says:

and thats how you do a review.. real good.
damn she moves a lot.. kinda looked like its gonna give me a vertigo.. lol

Matthew Jund says:

I absolutely love Perri but I would have preferred almost anyone else on this review. Her love for the franchise is well documented and I’d prefer a review from a more neutral party when deciding if I’m going to see a film. Still, Perri is an awesome reviewer

Kyle White says:

Excellent review Perri! Was hoping to hear that it captures the magic of the original Jurassic Park but as long as it's an entertaining film, I can live with that.

Martin Bridger says:

So they put dinosaurs on a island with a volcano that one day could erupt

Cidney Dessel says:

Just got home from a screening, enjoyed the film more than the first one, blue was brilliant

evilelvis0000 says:

Didn't think of it til watching this but it could be a rough summer for the Howard family if this bombs too

TerryMcGinnis says:

I'm looking forward to this sequel.

Jakob Kolness says:

When she said familiar faces and didn’t mention Goldblum at all… 🧐

Dontuween says:

Even though they denied it, I can't help to think that Perri had a HUGE influence (inside campaigning perhaps) in getting "Jurassic Park" at #2 in that recent Spielberg Collider poll.

louis wilson says:

Great review!!! I know I will have a blast with this movie!!!😁✌

Dakota Foote says:

"it’s the second installment in the Jurassic Park franchise."

Better change your description lol.

verisimilidude1 says:

Great review! Perri knows of what she speaks. There is no bigger fan of the franchise than her, so if she was satisfied in terms of its sheer entertainment value, it has to be worthwhile….

bloodsoldierZ says:

7/10 coming from Perri means that it's a terrible film and in this context, "Fun" is synonymous to "it is a waste of time for people who want depth".

TheGIGABR2004 says:

The volcano was mentioned on the movie different medias. Was in JW1 map, JP1 map, and the first park used geothermal energy. The island is an volcanic island.

GrayFox370 says:

If Blue dies, we riot.

Could care less about the shoehorned black kid though. If he dies, no one should care. Well, except for SJW's and those PC retards.

Trevor Thornley says:

I only cared about the first one

Dabi荼毘 says:

I’ll give this a 6/10, the plot is too predictable like the final arc of Fairy Tail.
