Andre Jules says:

I love how sexual they were with each other, I laugh my ass off when he just straight up went and touch the dude dick.

axel mateos says:

What I didn't like was that Oliver looks older in the movie than it was supposed to be, and that changes for me personally an important feeling about their "relationship"

Diogo says:

I wish Marcia got more appreciation. She was… ahh she was so special in my opinion. She brought something so human to the whole situation and, she's just, the most lovable character. In my opinion at least.

Heloisa Ikeda says:

Loved the review! The movie is amazing I can't wait to read the book too.
Just tell me something, Elio's dad is gay? I don't know if I got that right…

Heloisa Ikeda says:

Your nails are too long, it bothers me a little lol

Hana M says:

OMG I JUST WATCH THIS MOVIE AND I HAD ALL THE FEELS

T. Nguyen says:

i've watched the movie 5 times now, and everytime i start sobbing . it's one of those movies you never get tired of :/

MARK LLERENA says:

Get some real experience in life before you begin to pontificate to everyone about movie reviews, director's intention and everything else involved in the great experience of filmmaking. You are so full of ignorance, opinionated bullshit and who gives a fuck what you think about the making of this film in what you expressed in this video. Girl stop doing this. Get a masters degree and make at least three movie shorts, write at least three scripts and show us some of your acting videos so we can judge you first!!!! If you have the courage to show us first, then I will respect your effort coming from a perspective of reality about you. We're doing fine without you.

moli1623 says:

Unboxing Deutschland says:

Tolles Video gefällt uns, echt gut geworden ? Schau doch auch mal bei uns vorbei wäre klasse. Ein like hast du sicher von uns ?

Jonathan Buenaobra says:

I think that the whole Marzia and elio relationship was there to foreshadow the way Oliver chooses getting in a relationship with his fiancé and how elio would feel in the end being disregarded

bpm124 says:

Great review Trin. I love how took your viewers through so many memorable parts of the movie. I’m still on a huge CMBYN high and constantly keeping their world alive. Like you, I fell i love with the characters on screen but i’ve also become such a fanboy of them off screen. They’re impossibly adorable in their interaction during press interviews. Keep up the good work!

Andre Barriffe says:

Trin you’ve said it perfectly. This movie literally swelled up my heart with so much sugar spice and everything nice and then sucked it dry at the very end,. It was very satisfying to see both Oliver and Elio come to life. I am still in shock and as you said, the part where Oliver calls Elio and says he’s getting married and then ELio said you never said anything literally shoved a stake through my heart. There was so many thoughts and emotions going through my mind but couldn’t find the proper words to say. and I just love the whole cat and mouse chase with Elio and Oliver throughout the movie and the fact that in the boook, Oliver saw right through Elio’s facade made it even that much sweeter. This book and movie definitely has made it onto the list of things I love and hold dear and YEESSS to lilo and stitch and Milan. I grew up on stitch and I literally love him. I’m hoping that we don’t get a second movie because I don’t think I can go on this roller coaster ride of emotions but I need closure so I’m hoping they do!! Thank you Trin!

Well, dearie, your affection for this movie is reflected in every review of it professional and otherwise. There are bad reviews but they're far and few between

So, your enthusiasm for this film which you share with others could be described as "overhyped" if someone wanted to detract from it. And, of course "overhyped"
means it getting unjustified praise. Do you remember when you kept using this word to discribe in a review the enthusiasm for SKAM?  Of course you do, maybe
only because I'm reminding you of it now. Recalling that vid. and your remarks, this film doesn't have diverse racial representation which was one of your complaints
about SKAM. Everybody is white in this film, The main characters being Jewish doesn't take away from this. There is no diverse representatation in this film. How
that sits with you, and why have a double standard when scrutinizing the two productions I've mentioned? You reconciling this would be an interesting thing to attempt.
Both Italy and Norway are composed of white europeans by no less than 95%. The issue with lack of POC was stupid for obvious reasons.

Nice review for the most part, but it needed to be twinked a little by gettingt rid of the bullshit. Cheers!

leron underwood says:

i cried at end so hard. ps vision of gideon got me to

Marques Johnson says:

Flies have a short life span. The fly represents the relationship.

seth soakai says:

Wow i totally agree with this review because i watched the movie first and I thought it was really weird how elio was so mean to Oliver and I thought he just grew on him but then when I read the book and it explained how he liked him the whole time I was shook

Books&EverythingElse says:

I was okay for most of the movie… i teared up a few times but i was okay. AND THEN the very last freaking scene when he’s crying in front of the fireplace.. I LOST IT??
