If it were Clint Eastwood I would probably have passed

Screw You Google says:

really upset with how this movie portrayed the barbaric general dostum, people ignore the fact that he was a mass murderer who ordered the annihilation of complete villages in Afghanistan where so any innocent mothers and girls were raped killed and burned. This movie had an opportunity to display him for the monster he is however fell short and on the contrary displayed him as a good guy? Its akin to a movie displaying Osama Bin Laden as a good guy because he helped fight off the Russian invasion of Afghanistan. DOSTUM WAS NOT A GOOD PERSON.

Dax Jacobson says:

I was steeling myself for the expected jingoism in this movie, and thankfully very little American macho showed up, Chris Hemsworth buried the piece of the 911 metal in the dirt and that was it, other movies would have had a montage video at that point. I think some of the guys in this movie were also in Thank you for your service, I was reminded to think about the aftermath when these guys go home.

Edward Brink says:

It was really bad, watch lone survivor if you want a well made and realistic depiction of the afghan war

Randall Guzik says:

The Polish Army went against German tanks on horseback during WWII

William Blake Hall says:

What sounds great about this is that I can go see it and root for the horses. Horses outperforming tanks — damn.

Joe Smith says:

Pro war CIA, State Dept. movie. No thanks.

MrSharpie28 says:

Jay Wolin says:

van basten says:

Emma Bos says:

This is so great not having Alonso.

Stephen Malovski says:

I'm disappointed by Christy's jar game. Bring back the mason jar!!!

Scout says:

WARNING- the reviewer SPOILS the film first and then laughs and says , " Sorry Spoiler" afterwards! She just spoils it at the very end and they could have edited it out. Never subscribing to this channel.

CarSVernon says:

I honestly thought the thumbnail was just a picture of the Red Dawn remake

Stephen Likes Tools says:

and they made it…sorry doesn't fix a spoiler, please either edit the video or title. I think this lovely lady has done this before, and the guys.

basquat76 says:

Another day, another war movie. Just a matter of time before we get remakes of Eagles nest and guns of the navarone. HEy at least those are fun.

Heatrayuk Richard Eve says:

Black Hawk Down is terrible! it's a kid's movie. One of the most grotesquely stylized depictions of warfare imaginable. It's for boys who want to get together and pretend that they've matured. I'm from the UK, and I think there's a big gap between the American and British take on these movies.

Gerald Payne says:

Looks like the military religion is as alive and well in the US as it is in the UK

tiberiusfunk says:

As someone who is not American, as soon as I heard the words "911" and "patriotic" this scene from the black comedy Wag the Dog came to mind

LeWelker83 says:

Having seen the movie, I can say I was not disappointed and rather surprised at the story it was able to tell.

robby kronemeyer says:

Matt said "Uh" 14 times before the whole "let's watch the trailer" thing alone.

Stranger Happened says:

More propaganda of illegal wars of aggression.

Timothy Wilkes says:

Hemsworth best role to date is British formula 1 driver James Hunt in Rush, he got the personality of Hunt very well.

Chandasouk says:

Eh, fine I guess. Not a lot of emotional connection between most of the characters. You get a lot of "oh no, this soldier has to get back to their family" ordeal that is common in these types of movies. The action was decent and was paced well but felt like it ended abruptly even though it was a 2hr movie.

Caleb W says:

Looks like a jingoistic dull slog much like American Sniper

Nate DaGreat says:

To everyone that says it’s propaganda. It’s a true story so it’s not like the studio just said “let’s just make a big military movie about some bullshit”

Amutter says:

why the fuck would she spoil it at the end…. Worst kind of person on the internet..

bnose202 says:

Patriot porn?

Vincent Vega says:

Another american propaganda movie for simpletons.
